This project is called, Durban (keep your eyes open for Durban 2.0 – coming later in 2019). The renovation was done in partnership with our good friends, Expansion Properties. This house was acquired in the fall of 2014 and sold in May 2015. This 1913 arts and crafts house was kept as original as possible, but the work did include a lift to add a full height ground-level floor. By lifting the house, we were able to add two more large bedrooms, a living room, laundry room and two additional bathrooms. This was the first project we were able to complete without “living in” the reno. This house turned out beautifully and sold very quickly.
